British people are made weary by relentless attacks on their ordinary everyday. Hard working people are being bled out by a thousand cuts:
You can’t park here
Permits only
£20 for 5 minutes
A new tax on this
£8 for cheese
No you can’t access your own money
You can’t drive across your own city
No hospital bed for your mum.
The list goes on.
And yet everyday, ordinary British people keep showing up - certain of a better time before.
Everyday they hang in there, because they hold the secrets to a freer way of life, a life they want back for their kids.
I see us become more determined. Unbothered by the little we might lose for the great things we need to regain.
And I am certain we are winning.
Freedom cannot be contained. It defies small minds and weak men.
We have shown ourselves to be hardy. We are defiant. We have everything to fight for.
This is the time to be alive good people. Hang in there.
For in the end we win.
I’m rapidly moving beyond anger and disbelief.
£60 million on prompt private healthcare for migrants who broke into our country while 6 million Britons languish on NHS waiting lists.
WTAF?
It’s immoral.
What do you say @wesstreeting ?
I’m worn out hearing people moan, “Our grandparents could buy a house on one paycheck, but now we can’t even afford rent on two!”
Yeah, maybe because Grandma wasn’t dropping half her income on $14 iced lattes and avocado toast shaped like art projects. Back then, if they wanted coffee, they boiled it at home in a dented pot. It tasted like burnt rubber and regret — but it woke you up and cleaned your pipes.
And Grandma wasn’t “out to brunch.” You think she had time for mimosas and hashtags? She was making something called whatever’s left in the fridge and feeding six people with it.
Don’t even start with Uber Eats. You think Grandpa was out here paying $38 to have a burger delivered three blocks away? Please. He grilled mystery meat on a rusted barbecue, and everyone called it dinner.
Now people cry about being broke while sitting in a house full of gadgets. Two SUVs in the driveway, six streaming services, three air fryers, and matching tattoos that cost more than their light bill. You think Grandpa had a tattoo? He did. It said “Korea, 1951,” and it came with trauma, not Instagram likes.
And the kids—Lord help us. “We can’t make ends meet, but Brayden needs the new iPhone!” No, he doesn’t. You’re handing an $1100 device to a child who still eats crayons and forgets to flush.
When we were kids, there was one phone. It hung on the wall like a family relic. The cord stretched just far enough for you to whisper secrets before someone yelled, “Get off, I need to make a call!” And guess what? We lived.
The TV? One. In the living room. With three channels and a dial that clicked like a safe. And if Dad wanted to watch bowling, you were a fan of bowling, end of story.
Now there’s a flat screen in every room, the baby’s got an iPad, the dog’s got a camera, and everyone’s wondering why they can’t afford rent.
Because you’re living like rock stars on retail salaries, that’s why.
Grandpa wasn’t leasing Teslas or buying $12 smoothies called “Green Zen Awakening.” He drove a truck that coughed smoke, rattled like a storm, and smelled like oil and hard work.
They lived within their means. Whatever Grandpa brought home on Friday — that’s what they had. They weren’t keeping up with the Joneses; they were keeping the lights on.
So yeah, Grandpa bought a house on one salary. But he also didn’t have a gym membership, three delivery apps, and emotional support crystals on his nightstand. His only support system was Grandma, who told him to quit whining and mow the yard.
Nowadays, everyone’s broke, anxious, and “manifesting abundance” while ordering tacos on DoorDash for the fourth time this week.
It’s not the economy — it’s the lifestyle.
Wake up, turn off your subscriptions, make your own coffee, and maybe—just maybe—you’ll smell the truth.

Dear Keir Starmer,
Eva Vlaardingerbroek has been told that her presence is “not conducive to the public good” so she can’t come to the UK.
Eva is a young white Christian woman. What threat exactly does she pose to the British people?
Your government has allowed 40,000 undocumented males from backward, misogynist countries to enter the UK.
They are very much “not conducive to the public good”. Yet you spend billions of taxpayers’ money feeding and housing them while they decide which girls to sexually harass.
Me, I’d feel safer letting Eva in.
How about you, Prime Minister? 🤷♀️
We want this to stop.
Immediately.
It’s a threat to national security.
It’s a threat to everyone but especially women and girls.
It eats up national treasure we don’t have.
It’s absolutely monstrous yet it’s normalised!
Every bloody day more come
Deport every illegal migrant.
The complaint against me and our Rape Gang Inquiry has been cleared by the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards.
This complaint was a malicious attempt to shut me down and undermine our inquiry.
The complainant, who held the leaked details of the ‘confidential’ investigation, has a clear and evidenced connection to Reform - you can draw your own conclusions about how this information reached the media.
I was informed on Thursday morning that this investigation was happening, and I immediately provided undeniable proof that all was done within the rules - the money arrived in the Rape Gang Inquiry account on June 23rd and I have 28 days from that date to register. It is all in hand, and being done entirely correctly.
This irrefutable evidence was provided to the parliamentary authorities, I met them yesterday to discuss, yet they still decided to publish.
The Commissioner does not publish precise details of the investigation. The BBC was leaked confidential details of the investigation. The BBC published precise details of the leak without giving the inquiry a chance to respond.
I will be making a formal complaint to the BBC about the journalists involved, who have been forced to edit the article twice already.
It’s a hit job. Another hit job.
I do not think that it is a coincidence that this complaint has come just a few days before we are welcoming 40 rape gang survivors to Parliament.
We have been in contact with hundreds of survivors. We are giving them a voice. We are uncovering the truth - this evil is absolutely everywhere. It is sick.
We will keep fighting for the truth.
The political establishment is desperate to smear me, but we will not be stopped.
I don’t want an exchange scheme for illegal migrants. I want to leave the European Convention on Human Rights. I want to reform the Human Rights Act. I want to slash benefits. I want to detain & deport anybody who still comes. And I want to process offshore, outside of Britain.
I’ve been to a lot of protests over the years — across different sides of the political spectrum.
I’ve also been to far more music festivals and gigs than I can count, covering every genre you can imagine.
I’ve stood in crowds watching some of the most deliberately provocative bands around — death metal, doomcore, black metal, grindcore — whose entire thing is to shock the audience.
And yet, not once, not once, have I ever been asked to chant “death to” anyone. Not at a protest, not at a gig, not even as some twisted bit of irony.
If it had happened, I’d have walked away. I’d have been genuinely freaked out. Because there’s something deeply sinister about that. There’s a line between protest and hate — and when people start chanting for death, that line isn’t just crossed, it’s obliterated.
That’s why what happened at Glastonbury this year has left me chilled. British people, on British soil, waving foreign flags while chanting “death to…” — it doesn’t matter who the target is, it’s unacceptable.
How did we get to this point? How did that become normal at a supposedly progressive, peace-loving music festival?
And what makes it even more grotesque is that many of the people doing this are the same ones who spend the rest of the year lecturing everyone else to “be kind.” They’re the ones banging on about inclusivity, about tolerance — and yet the moment a woman stands up to defend her sex-based rights, they’re the first to call her a bigot, a fascist, a TERF. The hypocrisy is staggering.
It’s not inclusive to chant for the death of others. It’s not kind to silence and vilify women for speaking about their own lives. It’s not progressive to foster a climate where hate is rebranded as virtue, and rage is mistaken for justice.
I don’t know where we go from here. But I do know this: this kind of extremism needs challenging. It needs calling out.
Because if you find yourself in a crowd chanting for death, and you’re still convinced you’re on the side of good — then it’s time to take a long, hard look in the mirror.
“I heard you want your country back. Ha. Shut the f*** up” angrily yells Vylan, fresh from calling for “death to the IDF”, to a chanting crowd of white middle-class British liberals excitedly waving their foreign flags. All rather depressing, isn’t it?
I note the intense border security at Glastonbury, which far outstrips that of Dover’s. Build bridges, not walls, they cry - apart from around their own filthy little sanctuary.
How so very progressive of them, flying their Palestinian flags - they must all feel so very proud of themselves. Sipping their £8 iced lattes, posting on tiktok from the newest iphone. Really revolutionary stuff.
A fatal blow struck against the capitalist system. Well done, everyone.
All broadcast live on the BBC, our ‘national’ broadcaster. Fantastic work from them, as usual.
None of this is Britain. Real Britain. Actual Britain. Decent Britain.
Not the Britain built by generations of hardworking, patriotic British men and women.
Who quite frankly, have had enough. I know I have.
We will all be closely watching, as Lucy Connolly rots in jail, what action the police will take against this revolting man - the precedent has been set.
So, yes Mr Vylan. You heard correctly, we do want our country back.
But no. We will definitely not "shut the fuck up".
