Pakistan has very narrow margin of the way out, if there is any. The state must realign or at least balance its relationship with China. Internally, all political-cum-military actors must engage and deviler a unanimous approach on the issue, backed by national unity.

Parallel to it, state should engage other local powerful allies to dislogue Talibans and call for their autonomous states. It will result in the balkanization of Afghanistan and deconstruct Afghan nationalism as well as Talib-thought. A divided Afghania can be easily dealt with.

The state has to deploy a long term approach to deal with the issue. At first, it must draw a faultline between secular Afghan nationalism and Taliban's fundamentalist thought. Secondly, the state should polarise other races like Tajiks and Uzbiks to start independence struggle.
