@marbieskitchen_ I really don’t believe in that. A Holy Spirit hug is different from a warm, physical touch. Really sorry they said that. Praying you get it and more very soon x
@voteforhani 4 different people from different areas including an ICU nurse and almost 40 attempts at trying to get it in. It was awful seeing her in so much pain and nobody seemingly knowing what they were doing, but the worst thing was that she was so used to it.
@voteforhani Even when the next day when a specialist came round to see her they said that she should have had oxygen hours ago. It took at least 4 hours for her to get any sort of pain meds and even then they had to inject morphine rather than use a cannula because it took them-
@voteforhani I took one of my flatmates to the hospital a month or so ago because she had a flare up of pain from sickle cell, even though she could barely move/ breath and there was 1 other person on the ward, it took them hours for anyone to come and see her and they refused her oxygen-
Then they’ll say there’s no racism in the NHS. How someone can be denied water and be told if the dispenser isn’t working they can’t be helped in this day and age, beats me. Absolutely disgusted! Seems drug addicts get better treatment than sickle cell patients. #NHS#nhsgrampian
@NHSGrampian Please explain why a friend in the middle of a sickle cell crisis is denied water but drug addicts are given tea on demand. Horrid and discriminatory. She also waited 4 hours for an ambulance!!! I will be making an official complaint. #NHS#Discrimination#Scotland
