#NMDLCFall2022 off with a 💥! First session on the future of jobs…. Skills in automation & communication…skills kids (and adults) need for growth! #GoogleEd@EdTechAPS
Found a virtual friend from Sandia HS who I've been helping this year with GC. I love coming together with like minded friends! @EdTechAPS#nmdlc20@NMSTE1#googleclassroom
Not a math teacher. But totally learned some cool math tricks from @GodwinMathRocks. If I knew about patterns in inequalities in high school, math would have been even easier! #nmdlc20@EdTechAPS
@officialahapage @EdTechAPS If you build your "notebook" in pages, and then load to GC as a slide deck, kids can add to it (from an Apple device) and it saves like normal. When I'm back on campus I can try to make a video for you!
Let's talk #InteractiveNotebooks... Apple Pages allows for some cool options. Create your templates from Apple, blast to GC, and you've blended a teacher-centered slide deck with a student-created notebook. @EdTechAPS The district could benefit from 1:1. #NMDLC20#appleclassroom
In a lot of ways kids are smarter than us. The world is at their fingertips, but they don't know how to unlock ALL the potential they've access to. Teach accessibility: when, why, and how. Don't ask what they want to be, ask what they want to solve - then help them solve it.
Google MindMaps! The navigation star for data? So many cool tools I had no idea exsisted in the Gsuite! My teachers are either going to love me, or hate me with all my new tools.... #anywhereschool#edtechteam#NMDLC20
Kids are innovators. Asking to make connections w/o giving multiple ins makes "critical thinking" one-sided. When in the real world is there only one solution to a problem? Foster critical thinking by offering options for all thinkers. #NMDLC20@EdTechAPS#APSDigitalInnovators
