At the 51st University of Ghana Law Students’ Union (UGLSU) Week Official Launch, our Executive Director and Deputy CEO, Mr. Kwesi Baiden, challenged the next generation of legal minds to reimagine the role of law in an increasingly digital world. Speaking on “The Future of Law: Leadership, Technology and Nation Building,” he explored how visionary leadership, emerging technologies, and resilient institutions must work together to build safer, smarter, and more inclusive societies. At Margins ID Group, we believe meaningful nation-building begins with bold conversations, innovative thinking, and leaders who are prepared to shape what comes next. Thank you to the University of Ghana Law Students’ Union for creating a platform that inspires dialogue, challenges perspectives, and empowers future leaders. #MarginsIDGroup #UGLSUWeek2026 #FutureOfLaw #Leadership #Technology #NationBuilding #ThoughtLeadership #Innovation
A successful digital identity system isn’t defined by technology alone; it is strengthened by the people behind it.
Following the successful inauguration of The Gambia’s National Identity Management System (NIMS), Margins ID Group conducted a comprehensive capacity-building programme for officials and technical teams who will support the implementation and day-to-day operation of the system.
Beyond technical and operational training, the programme placed strong emphasis on compliance, data protection, and ethical standards ensuring participants are equipped not only with the skills to manage the system effectively, but also with the knowledge and responsibility required to uphold the integrity, security, and trust that underpin a national identity ecosystem.
Through practical demonstrations, knowledge transfer, and guided learning, participants gained the expertise needed to deliver secure, reliable, and citizen-centred identity services.
At Margins ID Group, we believe successful digital transformation goes beyond technology. It is about empowering people, embedding a culture of compliance and ethical responsibility, and building sustainable local capacity for long-term success.
Together with Identity Management Systems (IMS) Gambia Ltd, the Gambia Immigration Department, the Gambia Police Force, and the Government of The Gambia, we are laying the foundation for a secure, trusted, inclusive, and sustainable digital identity ecosystem.

Home is more than a place, it is a connection, a belonging, and a shared identity. Margins ID Group’s subsidiary, Identity Management Systems (IMS II), in collaboration with the National Identification Authority (NIA), successfully extended Ghana Card registration services to Ghanaians living in Spain, bringing identity closer to our people beyond Ghana’s shores. We are honoured to support a process that reminds every Ghanaian abroad that they remain an important part of our nation. No matter the distance, every citizen deserves to be recognised, included, and connected through a trusted identity. This is more than registration. It is about belonging. It is about ensuring that Ghanaians everywhere have a place within the identity ecosystem of their country.
The registration exercise is still ongoing in Spain. Ghanaians in Spain are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity and register. Barcelona: 16th – 18th

There are moments in history that remind us why the work we do matters.
Seeing Africa embrace digital transformation and witnessing the impact of our vision come to life is a moment of immense pride for everyone at Margins ID Group.
For years, we have believed that secure and trusted identity is the foundation for an empowered Africa, a foundation that enables citizens to access opportunities, strengthens institutions, and drives inclusive growth.
From the Ghana Card, which has transformed how identity is managed in Ghana, to the establishment of the Gambia National Identity Management System (GAM ID), we continue to work towards a future where every African can be recognised, connected, and empowered.
The inauguration of GAM ID is more than the beginning of a national identity programme; it is a symbol of what is possible when vision, partnership, and innovation come together.
We are proud to walk alongside The Gambia on this remarkable journey and to contribute to a future where identity becomes a catalyst for progress across the continent.
