If you're not already listening to Yaeji do yourself the favor! Your ears will thank you! Start with "Submerge FM", the first song of her 2nd album With A Hammer. Played that song LITERALLY more than 10 times in a row because it was so addicting and then listened to the entire mind blowing album! The best part is how different every song sounds and how enchanting the lyrics are as they oscillate between English and Korean. What a great artist!

Last week we lost an icon. Dolly Parton was one of the true artists who combined raw, real and incredible talent with authenticity. Her music channeled and championed the stories of humble yet colorful everyday people in such an extraordinary way. "Coat of Many Colors" is a favorite by her. In it she describes how love can transcend the challenges of life, and how being unable to afford fancy clothes was overcome by her mother stitching together what they had with love - a garment she wore proudly even if others laughed. 

Dolly had countless hits including "I Will Always Love You" which was covered by the incredible Whitney Houston. Whitney's unforgettable rendition would not have been possible without Dolly's genius. A testament to the fact that great art takes a life of its own and unfurls its beauty continuously.

We encourage EVERY real artist to study the life of Dolly Parton. Nashville has never been an easy place to make it, let alone at the time when Dolly was working her way up. She had to overcome many obstacles, sharks and difficult situations but she overcame them all with her unique Tennessee
toughness and smarts like a gleaming rose in a desert oasis. The Great artist lives forever through their art. Dolly was truly a GREAT artist whose music will stand the test of time.
