Compressed audio, phone mics, not our sensor.

We were wondering : could a model trained on clean, telemetry-labelled flights still detect drones from compressed TikTok audio recorded on a phone mic that is nothing like our sensor?So we ran our detection AI on the sound from those videos: compressed audio, ordinary phone mics, not our professional sensor.
It still detected them across forest, town, quiet and noisy conditions.

not perfect, but good enough.
