Universal Studios tried everything. They sent letters and repeatedly asked cinemas to play the correct Flat version on their flat screens. Audiences are literally begging. Yet, most PVR INOX flat screens simply refuse to honor these requests. They are completely disrespecting the time and money of paying customers, leaving audiences angry and disappointed.

These chains have zero sympathy and absolutely no technical knowledge. The staff ruining our experience are full of arrogance and frankly illiterate when it comes to basic projection.

Emails will not work. They are not going to read them. If we want this fixed, we have to go to them in person. Take a hand-printed letter, make them read it in front of you, and ensure they understand every single detail. We literally have to teach them like our own children. Explain what Flat is, what Scope is, why there are two different DCPs, and why a flat screen absolutely needs the Flat DCP. That might be our only hope for a proper presentation.

After watching #TheOdyssey, I couldn't stop thinking about it.

I did some research and found out they recreated ancient instruments through ancient text to create the film's sound. Sirens OST 🤯

So just rewatched #TheOdyssey in both #IMAX laser and #35mm again. Gotta say, i am not bored of it and still waiting for the tickets for the #IMAX70mm screenings of this movie and before that my experience video of this in these two formats for the first time will be coming soon. #letterboxd #cinema #movies

@kameshuprasadu Nope, especially for digital 1.43 there aren’t projectors being manufactured my IMAX to oroject 1.43 and most screens in these countries are 1.90:1 except one in malaysia which is tgv Sunway velocity which is 1.43 screen but only content with 1.90 aspect ratio

Here’s an updated guide for Singapore and Malaysia screenings of the odyssey. Mainly focused on the IMAX screens for Malaysia as their screens are managed and maitained better than singapore with better seats and comfort. There are other formats available as well like dolby atmos, onyx or so. If any issues with this do sound off and dm me so i can rectify it.
