AI has been mainstream for almost three years, yet consumer apps are all still the same.
Bro is our vision for what consumer apps will look like in the agentic era.
We're starting with Bangalore, building region-specific recommendations, multi-app aggregation, and automations into a single AI friend.
This isn't even close to the full product yet. Excited to see where this goes🚀
I visited 16 matcha places in Bangalore so you don't have to, Save this before your next matcha run.
I love making a list. I get nerded out and go around to different places to experiment, adding each one to my own little connoisseur list of spots I’ve tried. I’ve been giving matcha a chance over coffee these past few months, trying it out from different places so I can finally pick my player. So if you’re looking to try matcha around Bangalore, this is your list.
S tier
1. Midori Matcha Bar, Indiranagar
Newly opened. People are calling it a Sakura knockoff, but it’s actually so much better. Had my best matcha so far here. Never thought jamun and matcha would go together. Best on my list.
2. Moo Cha Kura, Koramangala
Very newly opened and super authentic. Love the ambiance and the menu. Honestly their tea range > matcha, but do try their Usucha matcha or the seasonal Banganapalli Mango matcha.
3. Matcha Mori, Ashok Nagar
Perfectly balanced matcha. Go for their Vanilla or Ube matcha. They’ve got a lot of experimental options too.
A tier
4. Sakura Matcha Bar, JP Nagar / Indiranagar
Probably my first matcha ever, the OG one. Go for their bestsellers: blueberry and strawberry matcha.
5. Teka, Indiranagar
Very high ceremonial-grade matcha, very authentic. Do try their Matcha Kumo latte or any of their hojicha lattes.
6. Evara Matcha, JP Nagar
Loved how zen the atmosphere is. Do try the Cane and Vanilla matcha. Skip the fruity ones here.
7. Mai Matcha Haus, Koramangala
Quite authentic. Try their Melon Bliss matcha.
8. The Coco Club, Halasuru
Really interesting flavour combinations. Do try their Yuzu Tonic matcha.
9. Turtle Matcha, Indiranagar
A bit too sweet for me, but the Golden Pop matcha latte and Blueberry Coconut matcha are unique. Surprisingly liked them.
10. Anama, Indiranagar
Surprisingly I’ve tried almost every matcha here. Super value for money. Strawberry >> Mango >> Lavender.
11. Lavonne, Indiranagar
Big fan of their strawberry matcha.
12. Bonam Cha, Indiranagar (underdog)
Matcha enthusiasts are gonna hate me, but I love their Strawberry Boba matcha. I crave it from time to time. Extremely not authentic, but kinda addictive.
B tier (avoid)
13. Latcha – Matcha & Premium Soft Serve, JP Nagar
A little too performative and extremely sweet for me. Soft serve > matcha. Wasn’t a fan of their strawberry.
14. Omira, Indiranagar
V average strawberry matcha.
15. Ela Matcha, Indiranagar
Too overpriced and watery.
16. Latte & Co, Indiranagar
Tried only one, so no strong opinion. The Ocean Latte is pretty okay-ish.
Still on my list, places I’m yet to try
1.Kaori by Chiran
2.Ami Japanese Kitchen
3.Purpose Matcha + Coffee House
