As a member at the helm of @CetaceanCapital, I have the pleasure of reviewing numerous pitch decks from some exceptionally talented minds.

However, following the #Web3 Gaming boom, which saw games like Axie Infinity $AXS and Illuvium $ILV explode, I was flooded with hundreds of #web3gaming decks and multiple advisory role proposals due to my background. Sadly, I declined them all. As a lifelong passionate gamer and a former professional gamer, I was deeply disappointed by the poor quality and quick cash grabs these proposals represented.

While these games opened the doors for web3 gaming, they had significant flaws in integrating blockchain tech into their economies, rendering the tokens and NFTs almost useless. Despite my excitement for #web3 gaming, nothing I encountered impressed me. For context, not only am I a passionate and competitive gamer, but I also maintained one of the highest win rates in professional gambling for eight years before shifting to full-time investing. Web3 gaming is a fusion of all my passions, so my disappointment was profound.

That has finally changed! Enter @play_planetx. About a month ago, I had the pleasure of meeting @ghost_ppx, the founder of Planet X. He shares my passion for gaming and understands the industry's challenges. Being pitched by James was like pitching to myself; how could I not invest in someone who reminds me of me? I’m god-tier... and modest, of course. 🤣

Why does Planet X excite me? Beyond the reasons mentioned, their token integration and use case within the game's economic model are exceptionally well thought out. The value accrual of the token, combined with its utilities, suggests long-term growth. It’s one of the best token models I’ve seen for a web3 game, with the flexibility to enhance it further.

But that’s just one piece of the pie. It gets better! Most gaming genres today are well-established, making it hard to innovate. Planet X has developed a new genre, combining popular battle royale elements with a Mr. Beast-style giveaway concept, creating something entirely unique. One major drawback of gaming is the lack of real-world value, but Planet X addresses this without relying on unsustainable #playtoearn mechanisms.

I also evaluate team and product quality. Not only is @ghost_ppx impressive and genuine, but his entire team is next level. They’ve produced a Triple-A game with stunning graphics and smooth gameplay, raising the bar for web3 and mobile gaming. Strategic partners, like O.G. members from #FazeClan such as @FaZeBlaze, boost my confidence in the game’s competitive mechanics. Who better to involve than pioneers of online game streaming?

In conclusion:

Product ✅
Vision ✅
Tokenomics ✅
Scalability ✅
Marketability ✅

@virginmedia I phoned and got told the "systems were down" and would be "phoned back in an hour". 5 hrs later, still no call.

Also tried on live chat, nearly got to the point of paying my cancellation fee when I was logged out and had to start a new chat
