3. BAIL APPLICATION REJECTED BY CHANDIGARH HIGH COURT ON FLIMSY GROUNDS
After my anticipatory bail application was rejected by the Sessions Judge, Adv. Narula filed a petition for anticipatory bail in the Chandigarh High Court on May 26.
It was listed for a hearing on May 27.
@KapilSibal took charge of arguing the matter online.
The prosecution sought time to file a status report. Today, August 29, the case was heard.
The Status Report filed by the Prosecution is bizarre beyond belief.
Despite legally sound facts presented in our bail application to prove that the FIR failed to establish any crime,
Despite brilliant arguments by Kapil Sibal and Adv Narula, my bail application was rejected by the High Court today.
In any case, I had been forewarned by lawyers in Chandigarh that the Modi govt was determined to "teach me a lesson" and punish me in the severest possible manner to make an example of me for dissenters and critics of the Modi regime.
Therefore, today's order denying me protection against political vendetta did not come as a surprise.
Now we are planning to appeal to the Supreme Court of India for the protection of my right to life, liberty and freedoms promised in the Constitution of India.
But with the Modi-Shah Team in command, I'd better be prepared for the worst.

Yesterday, I posted about my sibling’s petrol car getting stranded on the road due to a fuel pump failure. The company itself confirmed it was linked to a fuel blending issue related to ethanol.

But unfortunately, I had to delete the post because of immense pressure from higher authorities. For the first time in my life, I was forced to take down something purely out of concern for family safety and precautions.

The unfortunate truth is that whenever someone speaks up about ethanol-related issues, attempts are made to silence them. This may continue, but these problems won’t disappear and tomorrow it could be my own car stranded the same way.
