Games Design & Production Management graduate @AbertayUni.A #GameDev#UnrealDev#LevelDesigner currently living in @Belfast. Currently seeking new opportunities
@GerardLavery@TheLoveDuckie There are roughly about over 12 small indie companies here and found all use Unity. I think unless you decide to go independent and start your own company, the only other option is to move away.
It has been over a year since finishing university studying game design and have not landed a job in the game industry.
I was wondering when is an appropriate time when you should give yourself permission to fail and stop persuing a career in the games industry?
@TheLoveDuckie Thanks that means a lot, it's always going through little improvements but it all adds up. I have found that I usually apply to any companies in the UK that I believe my skillset matches and uses the Unreal Engine. I do believe I may have to look much further abroad soon.
@MattGDubois Hi yes I do post these to YouTube, I'm making my second tutorial now being the moveable wall maze.
Here is my first tutorial and I plan in future to recreating game or level designs used in popular titles in Unreal Engine 4 in short tutorials :) https://t.co/la4d7WpYt1
Glad to say that my first #UE4 tutorial is ready to watch. Using the #UnrealEngine by @EpicGames and hope any #gamedev out there will find this helpful.
Any feedback is very much appreciated and more tutorials will be on the way!
