We are proud to be part of Mission United with many other amazing community partners. Check out this Global Durham video about the Back Door Mission featuring Stephanie Skopyk from our Nurse Practitioner Led Clinic! https://t.co/3iDI4UJHId
Great profile piece @EntSocOnt. @ASkopyk also teaches our 4th year Interdisiciplinary lab course where she shows students how to create an insect collection, from collection to identification. Always a favorite among students! #OntarioEntomology#ForensicEntomology
Today would have been @ScienceetAl Alycia (MSc) and @jerika_ho (BSc) graduation. They should have been proudly walking across the stage with family and friends (and proud supervisor) cheering wildly. We will all be thinking of you today. Be proud of what you have achieved!
as you've all been made aware, ontario court of appeal is now ruling intoxication as an excuse for sexual assault. this is so wrong & dangerous. please take the time to use the template below to send an email to premier ford and attorney general downey so we can get this appealed

I stand with the OTSU! To my students: I see you. I love you. I will stand with you and use my privilege to help end racism and hate. #BlackLivesMatter
@theresastotes @prof_hleblanc@shaemort@jerika_ho Thank you for your question, Theresa. The colonizing blowfly species in Australia are quite different! There are a few overlapping species such as Lucilia sericata and Lucilia cuprina however the majority of the colonizing species in my study would not be found in Canada.
@csfs1953@prof_hleblanc@shaemort@jerika_ho I support the opening of similar facilities in Canada and hope to be involved. Facilities that exist today are found in locations with high temperature climates such as Texas and Australia. The forensic community in Canada needs research like this in our own climate conditions.
Blood stains on ice cold surfaces; what’s the deal? I am very excited to present my thesis on “Passive drip stain formation on ice cold surfaces” in this years #CSFSPoster2020 virtual twitter poster competition! Supervisor: @theresastotes
