The next generation of safety is digitally assisted.
We were on the news! Thanks @MelanieWoodrow@DionLimTV!!!

@TiberiusXYZ@Twolfrecovery@michelletandler Sorry John! The VC crunch has cut our burn dramatically. We're looking to bring in capital through B2B deals, but it's looking tight. We might have to take down the iOS app for a while since AWS is the biggest burn we have, and the app is free. Android is gonna be a bit...
@Twolfrecovery@michelletandler At what point do we say a person's choice to do drugs on the street is trumped by a kids right to be schooled w/o high people tweaking across the street?
I'm 100% for recovery. We should make that an easier choice.
If you had an app that predicted crime wherever you are going, living/schooling, investing what would you do with it?
No weird superhero answers pls. Real survey for the real app we have for free in SF. Curious how or if you'd use it.
Thanks!
@Twolfrecovery Housing is a big issue, but not as big as our failure to prioritize recovery and the rights of everyone other than the dealers.
This is next to a school:
@joelaguero Good article. Parking in SF can be baffling, and with tix going for almost $100, smart to be aware. If you want that data live and with projections wherever you are in SF, free app: https://t.co/yB7BuyoJy8
Soon with a web interface for all SF risks, @grifftgaff
@RefuseRefuseSF@michelletandler My guess =measurable crime decrease wherever @RefuseRefuseSF has been more than once in a month.
Much evidence cleanliness and opportunity reduces violent crime significantly: https://t.co/JoHjrYWUdO
Reduction in violent crime increases property value: https://t.co/Nj30LRMmZM
@bettersoma@michelletandler At The Pawn Shop (Mission+6th):
Violence -2% (tho at Extreme levels all day)
Sexual Offenses +100%
Animal abuse +25%
Drugs +213%
Drugs = sexual assault + animal abuse + lives lost
We can do better.

@RawRicci415
@bettersoma And here's the thing. That 1/4 sq mi block in the TL has 359 drug offenses in 2022 thus far. Outside of that small group of 6 sectors in the TL, the highest number of drug violations is 8.
We can do better.

@stuz5000@Twolfrecovery@susieneilson The trends are of course very localized. If anyone would like the numbers, pre-crunched, and to a granularity of 1/4 mile sq., it's free. No need to debate about it...

@RealCarrotTop Ugh. Sorry your car got broken into. Right in front of the Fairmont, auto break ins are high, and +75% over the past year. Risk peaks at about 2pm.
Best to put it in the garage while there.

Looks like SF hotel occupancy in June (75%) is way up from the past two years: https://t.co/N3oEDD4QsB
Great for SF biz. To keep the tourists+conventioneers coming back, we need to keep them safe: https://t.co/v4CndlFmE1
@BiotechNewbie@SteveAdams80182@BrookeJenkinsSF At Eddy+Larkin over the past 3 mos:
Drug offense arrests +214%
Mental health interventions +267%
This is what we'd expect when enforcement ratchets up. During the TL emergency, we saw no sig arrest uptick.
Hope it's the start of a new normal.

Are you parking your Kia or Hyundai in a high auto theft area in SF like below? You're multiplying your risk. Nationwide spike in thefts of those brands.

@realEstateTrent Any appetite for neighborhood improvement? Helps your neighbors, increases investment value: https://t.co/Nj30LRMmZM
Happy to give you access to the data when we go live in NY (I think you're in NY...)
@michelletandler Biz taxes matter. Also, unsafe biz districts matter.
Here's the Salesforce Tower:
Mental health crises +133%
Assault +57%
Theft +71%
Sexual offenses +50%
It's not a deeply dangerous place, but much moreso than the last time workers were here.
