The last time the Canadian Parliament was in session was December 17, 2024, before it was prorogued on January 6, 2025, by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Members of Parliament have been on vacation for almost 5 months.

The country is a total shit-show, and no one is doing anything about it.

CBC Ombudsman:

I am writing you today to complain about the behaviour of CBC guest Robert Fife and CBC host David Cochrane.

The segment on Power and Politics was the worse case of journalistic integrity that I have ever seen as a long time CBC critic.

1) Robert Fife used second hand gossip to claim voters called Pierre Poilievre a "dick". This is against CBC journalistic standards and Fife should never be allowed back on CBC.

2) David Cochrane laughing was unprofessional and also broke the CBC journalistic practices. He must be removed from the CBC Power and Politics show.

3) An on-air apology must be read on the program and a commitment to end this type of crass partisanship that targets Conservatives.
