Non political, heartwarming post of the day.❤️ A story about love & patience.❤️
Every afternoon an Akita named Hachikō walked to Shibuya Station in Tokyo to meet his owner, Professor Hidesaburō Ueno, coming home from work.
On May 21, 1925, Ueno died of a brain hemorrhage at the university. He never got off the train.
Hachikō still showed up.
He kept showing up for 9 years, 9 months, and 15 days. Rain. Snow. Heat. Crowds started bringing him food. Newspapers wrote about him. A statue went up while he was still alive.
Hachikō died in 1935 near the station.
The statue is still there.
People still meet under it.
He was waiting for one man. A city learned how to wait with him.❤️
@ishiguzochris 🎬 A movie inspired by Hachiko touched millions.
Now one of the most emotional stories ever told has a growing crypto community behind it.
That's a combination worth watching.
