BREAKING:

🇮🇱 Israel is preparing for a new invasion of Gaza in the city of Rafah.

About 1.5 million Palestinian refugees from all over Gaza are located here.

Al Jazeera and Israel's Channel 12 reported that Israel had launched an operation to displace the refugees ahead of the invasion which is due to take place in a few days.

The Wall Street Journal reports that meetings between the Israeli defense minister and senior US officials were not focused on how to stop the operation in Rafah, but instead on 'how to protect civilians during its rollout' and that both sides agree Hamas battalions in Rafah 'must be dislodged'.

This is a direct violation of the UN resolution, whose existence has been undermined by the US and no longer serves any purpose.

The lives of many children are again under threat.
