@rockinzmannn@HBHNationBlog I get all that. Like I said, there are criticisms to be had for all coaches. I think the proof it’s working is there with the improvement of guys like Cristall, Suzdalev among others this season.
@JosephSzymanski I won’t defend the poor home record, but with a very front-heavy home schedule and those departures noted (which were key), and a rebuilding effort, early season woes were to be expected a bit, and that definitely contributed to it.
@HBHNationBlog@f53a00eb73cd4d5 No doubt about that. Also the play of Schueneman since late February also deserves a ton of credit. He had a stretch of 10 games in December and January where I called for him to be healthy scratched. He was once, but then he turned it on. Those 2 held it down till Ness was back.
@JosephSzymanski I looked up things, and 51 players wore sweaters for Hershey this season. Pens were also over 50, but most AHL teams had 30-35 total.
And I agree on this. Fans said expect a rebuild but then were extra critical. I am excited for next season and hope they retain the staff.
Missed the final game of the Hershey Bears game last season as I was out of town, but that was tough to watch. Not the hockey, but the postgame stuff. The boys played great hockey in the last month and were up to the task against a good Pens team.
@f53a00eb73cd4d5@HBHNationBlog The full interview posted on chocolate roar’s YouTube page from Louie is fantastic. I know when he signed, my nephew was mad because he came from the Phantoms. I told him, that he’s the kind of player you’ll grow to love. And I was right. Glad he’ll be back.
