US moratoriums on AI datacenters just means the datacenters will be built abroad, it stops nothing. AI and potential job replacement is happening whether we like it or not, you can't stop efficiency.

My guess is the way we balance job losses is from taxing the AI compute and redistributing that wealth back to society, but that becomes harder if we push the nexus of the compute outside US borders. This is going to backfire.
