AKB48 have announced the total abolition of the current team structure, to be replaced by a simpler structure of regular members and research students - the final team concerts will be held in August. The announcement came at the end of the group's Spring Concert in Yokohama on April 29. The team approach has been in place since the group's inception in 2005.

This last year has involved a ton of really enlightening therapy and work on myself, and had some crazy low points with depression and struggling with myself. Mental health work is never over, but I feel proud of myself today for trying hard to invest in myself.
