@mstowe_ The fact that you didn’t see it until it’s been out for over 45 days explains everything. I’ve also seen 1 of these posts for every 500 posts of people who loved it. It’s not for everyone, enough said.
@0ddsam A consistent year yet to be a guaranteed good experience yet. It’s definitely being fine tuned still. Last year they tried pulsing house entries, this year they aren’t. So again, hit and miss.
@0ddsam I went last year with my only intention of doing all of the houses multiple times. I only got through 4 houses due to the wait times sky rocketing at night. I’m doing it again this year, but along with an RIP tour just to guarantee I get everything done. Premium has not had…
@craymusic What gets really annoying with when iTunes does the “rental” for $19 and “buying” for $25. Rentals should be $1 since you can only watch it for a day once you start.
Attention: everyone who is buying/renting all the digital versions of @obsessionmovie and loving it. It’s still in theaters currently and will be through the holiday weekend. Do yourself a favor, and go see this movie in a theater, the way it’s meant to be seen.
@sleepyreap3r@SLMMM58@Jay_XO291 Certain movies have such good scores and editing that are meant to be seen and heard in a theater. There are many, many aspects of a film you cannot recreate at home. So if someone is watching this for the first time at home, yes, they are missing out on details.
@drubov I just watched the first movie last week, assuming it would be announced eventually. It was a solid horror film, wasn’t blown away by any means. But not bad. But we will definitely see how HHN creatively adapts it all.
@john_murdy This is always one of my favorites (if not my favorite) thing about HHN, you don’t just flat out throw movie scenes into a house. You take inspiration from the films and go crazy with it.
To everyone watching @obsessionmovie at home for their first experience of the film, I’m sorry. You’re already at a loss by not experiencing it in a theater for the first time. Sorry not sorry.
@SavinTheBees@TheCamSays There was a TON of different scenes that were filmed as written in the script that were never used, or were changed because of how good Michael and Inde ended up acting out ideas that Curry liked a lot more. The ending being a prime example.
@_vic2lit@DiscussingFilm Sounds like you’ve never actually seen it. And no, the average person who has enjoyed it, including myself, has seen it multiple times in a theater. Each time you watch it, you learn new stuff. And I love the music, which wil always be better in a theater
@ByAllMeansMovie Backrooms you could see the scares coming up. Obsession you have absolutely no idea when they would happen, that’s what made it so unsettling
