Director Park Si-young:
“Oh, now that you mention it, I wonder if this will make the news too? Please let it get covered. I’m disgusted by the way HYBE, a major corporation in the K-pop industry, conducts itself. If you’ve taken years of these minors’ lives under the guise of “training”… seriously, what kind of adult does that? Bunch of pathetic losers. If you’re making money off kids and building a business around them, then at the very least, act like responsible adults. They’re so embarrassing.
You’re going to “set an example” for the entertainment industry by crushing people with money and lawsuits? Give me a break. I don’t give a damn about Min Hee-jin or Bang Si-hyuk. But targeting one young person and trying to destroy them, how is that justice? It’s so unbelievably idiotic. There should be a limit. HYBE is seriously disgusting. I hope this gets as much media coverage as possible! Bunch of fools who can’t even act like adults.”
@Shan2931@PopEmpirex Are you bsh? Bcs this is so embarrassing. Imagine defending the big ass corporation and their "business and reputation" over the girls fighting for their worker's rights.
@dejavuxalicia@PopEmpirex Are you stupid? If the contracts are unfair, what do you suggest they do? Sit quietly as they get treated worse and the adults keep making money off of them? And they are young and if adults are making money from them, they should be protected and not "punished"
Director Park Si-young talks about NewJeans:
"I don’t give a damn about Min Hee-jin or Bang Si-hyuk. But targeting one young person and trying to destroy them, how is that justice? It’s so unbelievably idiotic. There should be a limit. HYBE is seriously disgusting. I hope this gets as much media coverage as possible."
"If you’re making money off kids and building a business around them, then at the very least, act like responsible adults."
the “mean girl” narrative exists because kpop has normalized the idea that idols should quietly endure mistreatment. when hanni spoke up, people turned her into the problem instead of acknowledging the system that enabled it.
“she should’ve reported it privately instead of replying” lmaooo so now yall guilt tripping ningning for defending her own mother publicly. i really hope she starts suing yall 😹
@songeunroock Remember, Riize was the first BG in 4th and 5th gen to break the digitals. And riize is also the 1st 5th gen bg to do Tokyo dome concert. They are just missing that one breakthrough song like for every successful group. Hope Center 5 gets their shit together soon
@songeunroock NCT also took years, way longer than riize to get their footing in Kpop industry. In comparison, riize is doing pretty well. Riize got so much praise and love from gp before the scandal. They might not be making noise like before, but riize is still among the top BG of 5th gen
i know so many oomfs love these guys but why did they release this 😭😭😭 they were doing so great and said "wait im a boygroup, let me release some trash"
most uncomfortable we riize episode yet can they wrap this whole becoming extroverts thing up now.. the content team needs to stop acting like their introverted personalities make them boring when everything has been fun bc they were being themselves why force to change that
I was thinking which dude you are talking about and it is Tiffany's husband. This is so wilddd lol. Stop projecting your byun yohan hate onto the girls. "Didn't wanna bump" as if you know what the girls want 😭😭😭😭
