Technology removes friction. Lower friction leads to democratic production. Democratic production creates abundance. Abundance leads to noise. Noise increases value of signals.
@PriyankaLahiri_ But when presented with a system that works, we tend to behave differently. Which is what happens when we go abroad. Thoughtfully designed public spaces and infra, clear communication, punctuality - we start realising how much simpler everyday life can be when things just work.
@PriyankaLahiri_ I suspect some part of it has to do with our very relationship with the systems - infrastructure, rules etc. We distrust the system- and maybe rightly so. Unlike other parts of the world, the systems here tend to be unreliable. We work despite, not because of them.
