Here to spread positivity and inclusivity for all aspecs! Exclusionists (of any kind) not welcome. #BlackLivesMatter ๐๐ Icon and banner by aeviart on Tumblr
I went to look at this original article that talks about how bisexual people can be lesbians, and was not surprised to see the same article address asexuality in lesbian spaces. This is important and a huge part of why I think aspecs should care more about mspec lesbian exclusion
Having allies who can stand up for aromantic people helps community members feel safe and included.

#AroWeek
#AggressivelyArospec is a blog, but itโs also a movement. Its goal is to promote arospec culture, to create a community and a platform where the voices of arospec people can finally make themselves heard.

Have you heard about "aro-phobia"?
It's around us every day
Since it's #aroweek and literally nobody talks about it, I'll tell how deeply it's rooted in our society: everyday life/fandoms, how aro-people suffer from it and why any of you might unintentionally add to arophobia
->
Whoeverโs running the LGBTQIA wiki removed all the aromantic microlabels. Important arospec labels like demiromantic, greyromantic, etc are all gone now.
Whatโs worse is that someone on Reddit said that โit was to make LGBT+ definitions easier to understand.โ Arophobia is real.
Since I'm getting some new followers here and it seems not all aspecs have caught up on being inclusive, I want to point out that this account also supports mspec lesbians. I am a bi lesbian myself, as my carrd mentions.
Today is #AppreciateADragonDay! Any #aro and #ace people want to share how they appreciate dragons?
Share any fun facts about dragons, dragon memes, or just how you feel about dragons below!
Hashtag BIPOCasexualHERE
A great way for BIPOC ace community to find others is the hashtag above. Iโm not BIPOC so I didnโt actually tag it, but figured Iโd boost the hashtag for my BIPOC ace followers.
@AceGentle is the creator of the hashtag
// to all the people going "nobody says this" - do you realise how invalidating that sounds? just bc you haven't heard/seen it, doesn't mean many people (myself, others & who submitted this) haven't dealt with this a hell of a lot. it's exhausting. let us vent about it?

@xxenocafe Aww thank you for the mention! ๐ It sucks how much aphobia is out there still. But asexuals are and always will be amazing regardless!! ๐
I've decided that I am going to be taking a step back. This year, it has become harder to balance fighting for the ace community and continuously experiencing racism within it. It is becoming increasingly prevalent and detrimental to my mental health.
