Hello, I'm posting here because I don't want to be dogpiled for calling this person out. These insensitive remarks about cultures have happened numerous times and I believe that wctwt's attention needs to be brought to this.

@princeowlpuppy Seriously lol. I don't understand what's so hard about staying off social media and ACTUALLY learning from your mistakes. It seems like they keep intending to return when "the drama blows over." They really don't give a shit unless they get interactions for their fanfic.

They clearly do not understand how their actions negatively affected others, and I don't think they want to understand. At this point, it is just willful ignorance and I believe it should not have place in this community.

Are people just going to let Bris get away with racism? Despite being told multiple times how their actions were severe and how it affected others, they still refer to their actions as "drama." I don't understand why Bris keeps trying to return continuously.

You are *continuing* to minimize the impact of your actions and *continuing* to dismiss the frustrations expressed by minorities and the people you hurt.
Therefore, people are well within their right to *continue* calling out your behavior in return.

And you *certainly* cannot expect it when you are STILL referring to your hurtful and insensitive comments as "drama." Racism is not drama. Ableism is not drama. Offending people of specific cultures and walks of life IS NOT DRAMA.

@fawnlingstars I do completely understand where people were coming from and I do understand that they did not want the other things that Bris has said to be drowned out. I apologise for not taking the time to double check with how my thread was originally worded.

@fawnlingstars Thank you for wording this concisely. I struggled with trying to explain myself to people over and over again as English is not my first language. I really felt as if people were not understanding my intention with why I posted those particular screenshots

Just to clarify further; I am absolutely not trying to drown out the racist statements with the things I have posted earlier. I was trying to point out a pattern of tone deaf behaviour that very well could have played a part in Bris being culturally insensitive.

Fawn has explained my points wonderfully here. I do admit that I worded my original post poorly as I struggle with finding the words to properly convey what I am trying to point out. I will reiterate; the jokes alone aren't bad. I'm aware many people have made Trump jokes.

For those who may be confused to why this was posted: the jokes in it of itself are not the problem, it's the context given that Bris is the one vocalizing them. Given the context of Bris’ history regarding insensitivity to other cultures, these jokes hold an air of tone deafness

Considering Bris' other actions, I thought this may be important to talk about also. Bris has made world events (ex. the US election) about their favourite character and I believe this is not really appropriate given the dire situation it has put many people in.

To clarify, this is a completely separate situation from Bris being culturally insensitive and it is not required to be read to understand the severity of their actions. That being said, I don't think it is right for someone's hard work to be copied like this.
