Going with a Chinese-style engagement ceremony theme (it's called sangjit back home, but not sure if it's the "real" Chinese term?). Usually it's a family celebration, where the mum of the groom gives a necklace to the bride 💞

Kemarin itung2an nanti lulus jadi NQ nurse THP minimalnya sekitar £2000 per bulan. Living cost + bills sebulan £600 masih aman. Rent £1200 masih nyaman. Masih ada sisa £200. Ga ada tanggungan, bukan di london tapi masih kota besar jadi yah👌

Ini betul banget. Sebenernya gaji di Eropa itu gak gede2 banget. THP setara Rp17.3jt di Indo sounds make sense. Tapi di Indonesia masih harus mikir nabung untuk masa depan (e.g. biaya sekolah anak dan pensiun).

Kalau di Eropa, gaji dihabiskan semua setiap bulan pun masa depan insya Allah sudah aman karena pendidikan gratis/murah dan tabungan uang pensiun yg dipotong dari gaji kotor jumlahnya sangat lumayan.

Sebagai contoh, gaji saya di UK kalau dikonversi PPP terhadap Indonesia gak sampai Rp48jt. Tapi proyeksi uang pensiun nanti ada di rentang Rp10M - Rp30M. Di Indonesia untuk bisa dapat uang pensiun segitu dari BPJS JHT, butuh gaji sekitar Rp500jt/bulan selama 30 tahun.
