Compañeros del #SEPRONA han detenido a un vecino de San Bartolomé tras una investigación iniciada al difundirse una grabación en la que presuntamente agredía a un perro de su propiedad.

El animal fue intervenido y trasladado a la perrera municipal. Las diligencias serán remitidas a la autoridad judicial competente.

On the account of #InternationalDogDay a harmless and friendly community dog Teddy was murdered in India 🇮🇳 . Teddy was brutally beaten, stabbed with an iron rod and later strangled with a rope. These are extremely serious allegations that demand an immediate, impartial investigation.

In Istanbul's Pendik district, it is alleged that a man verbally harassed a 15-year-old girl walking her dog, saying, “Don't touch that animal, it's forbidden; don't walk it here” and when the girl reacted, he slapped her, stabbed her in the back, stabbed her father, and struck her mother—who tried to save her daughter—breaking her arm.

In 2023 the Avon Vale hunt were thrown out of the British Hound Sports Association after footage emerged of them throwing a fox to hounds and bolting another. However, this wasn't the first video to be shared of this kind of disgusting behaviour as another instance of them digging out a fox and throwing it to waiting hounds was shared in 2020.

At the end of 2025 the Avon Vale hunt were no more as an application was submitted to Companies House to strike them off. Three days ago, news reports stated that plans have been submitted to demolish the kennels, near Lacock to make way for residential accommodation.

The Avon Vale hunt will forever be a stain on our countryside, but it does beg the question as to why the BHSA threw them to the dogs but have taken no such action against the Coniston Foxhounds who were caught on a drone last year by Lake District Hunt Sabs, doing exactly the same thing.

It sometimes beggars belief how stupid supposedly clever people can be. The American VC funds now running Thames Water are trumpeting the former CEO of Yorkshire Water as the saviour of the company.

Really? During and following Liz Barber's spell as CEO of Yorkshire Water the company has,

* "loaned" £940 million, of bill payers money I suspect, to the company's Hong Kong owners, without telling the regulator.

* Is now in such financial peril that it is on Ofwat's "Enhanced concern", list.

* Is £7.5 billion in debt.

* Is putting up customers bills by 41%.

* Leaks about 98 billion litres of water per year.

* Was fined £40 million last year for illegally dumping sewage.

* And since 2020 has spent a total of 2,459,367 hours dumping sewage into our rivers and onto our beaches.

* Oh and Liz was paid £1.3 million the last year she worked for the company.

And all of that is supposed to make us feel better but Thames Water?

HEART BREAKING 💔💔💔💔💔

A couple of nights ago, we received a heartbreaking call about a dog lying alone in the the cold in Tallaght. It was around midnight, and he was absolutely terrified.

We all panicked, desperately trying to find someone who could get to him as quickly as possible. Thankfully, another wonderful rescuer stepped in and made sure this frightened little boy was safe, until we could get him, thank you Keith and friend ❤️
He had a slight injury, possibly from being clipped by a car, although we can’t be certain what happened to him. 💔💔💔
What we do know is that he was scared, vulnerable and desperately needed someone to help him💔💔💔💔
Thankfully, he is now safe at My Lovely Horse Animsl Rescue, and our wonderful vet John has examined him. ❤️
But honestly… how can this keep happening? 💔😡
Animals should not be left lying terrified and cold on the side of the road, crying and begging for help. And once again, the rescue community is left picking up the pieces💔💔💔 Animsls need help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, no point thinking 9 to 5, five days a week is good enough 😡😡😡😡

Please, if you can, donate towards this little boy’s care. And please remember that he is just one of so many animals out there who need help right now💔💔💔
We cannot continue like this. It is heartbreaking💔💔

UVA running back Solomon Beebe punched his own pit bull.

A housekeeper at his apartment complex watched him hold the dog against the wall and hit it with a closed fist. The dog yelped with every strike. Animal control seized the pit bull the next day.

Beebe faces three animal cruelty charges. He was released on bond.

A grown man in a college football program taking his fists to a dog. That is pure cowardice. Charge him. Convict him. Keep the dog away from him for good.
