Stockport Road in Denton was closed in both directions this evening after a collision between a Volkswagen Golf and a motorcyclist.

Severe damage that is consistent with a head on crash was seen to the front end of the Golf.

It's unclear how seriously injured those involved are

Firefighters from Hollins Station were called to a fence fire in the garden of a property on Seventh Avenue in Limeside at around 7pm.

Luckily the fire was quickly put out after the quick response of them attending.

Three Pumps were called to Cormallen Grove in Failsworth this evening.

Plumes of smoke were seen across the sky in North Manchester.

King Street Roundabout was closed this afternoon after a serious collision involving an e-scooter.

The rider, a boy, aged 13 was rushed to hospital following the crash.

Significant windows screen damage was seen on the Suzuki taxi.

The Air Ambulance also landed nearby.

An awaiting ambulance has transported the specialist medics from it to a house on Old Chapel Street.

A man was seen being stretchered into the back of an awaiting Ambulance.

Witnesses now say the vehicle hit the pedestrian and crashed as officers were turning around to pursue it.

The collision is believed to have involved a pedestrian and a car being pursued by officers.
