I brought up things that could be improved since I started using Dorian, and so far they’re implementing may of them. But false rumors end up distracting from constructive criticism

Just want to let you know that creators are bringing up ideas to improve the platform. We’re all invested in doing right by the game! Just wish people didn’t spread rumors.

@that__1__artist @an0therlizard @thearcanagame @DorianStories I don’t care about what the ambassadors do but about avatars on Dorian you can play with no avatar like the arcana or literally upload any image from your phone as an avatar. It can be a picture of yourself, a drawing, anything you want 🤷 idk how you make it more inclusive

@that__1__artist @an0therlizard @thearcanagame @DorianStories Also, I agree with you that being able to replay paid scenes would be great, but good points like this one get lost between all the lies people share (like claims about non-existent sketchy practices.) Lies like those only hurt the game and the fandom

@that__1__artist @an0therlizard @thearcanagame @DorianStories The heart problem has been brought up to them but keep in mind only about 1% of arcana players replay scenes, so they’re focusing on issues that affect more users first like adding music to the app. Not every change can happen overnight and some take priority over others.

@that__1__artist @thearcanagame @DorianStories I’ve seen Dorian make lots of changes since I joined and more is coming almost every week. But some criticism from the fandom I’ve seen is either based on false information or just misunderstanding how Dorian as a platform works.

@that__1__artist @an0therlizard @thearcanagame @DorianStories 2/2 for example I’ve seen people upset over some of the cosplayers but Dorian doesn’t control who we can cosplay as or what we write. It’s not that Dorian is ignoring feedback it’s that a lot of feedback is from people that didn’t even check to see how Dorian works.

You can’t exactly demand more while also going around telling people to stay away from the platform based on false info

Non-official content is being posted to our personal creators account whenever we decide we want to post something and Dorian doesn’t get to tell us what to write about

@that__1__artist @an0therlizard @thearcanagame @DorianStories Again, it’s like saying Instagram should hire more photographers because it’s unfair for other users to take all the pictures or ao3 should hire its own writers instead of making fans do it and Tiktok should pay you to upload videos 🤷 makes no sense to me

I don’t understand, do you go after Instagram because “it’s unfair to make other people take all the pictures and they should have just hired their own photographers?”

Arcana fans want free content because paying hearts for content is a scam, but Dorian can’t have people write for free (we don’t write for free by the way) so where do you suggest the money come from if they can’t charge for their content?

@that__1__artist @thearcanagame @DorianStories Yes I’ve seen the posts on Instagram and a lot of the stuff I’ve seen was false info copied and pasted around the internet (like being able to change the creator agreement without telling creators??) so maybe it’s not a good idea to keep spreading false info
