🇮🇩💔 CNN Indonesia journalist Irene Whardanie broke down live on air from Aceh Tamiang, Indonesia.
After more than three weeks since the disaster, she reported that nothing has meaningfully changed. Children are going hungry, standing by the roadside waiting for food that isn’t coming.
She couldn’t hold back tears seeing the conditions or the slow response.
Residents asked journalists to tell the truth about what’s happening, not to soften it or cover it up.
Even journalists couldn’t hold back their tears.
