Students who haven't been able to attend classes despite being enrolled in Assam's HS Schools in the previous year due to health etc reasons, For which their PEN Numbers hasn't bn issued. Such students r facing many difficulties in getting re-admission again this year. T 1/2

Women are the driving force behind the tea estates of Assam. Their work is physically demanding and carried out under challenging conditions. Additionally, lack of infrastructure suited to their needs, gender discrimination and lower wage rates are added disadvantages for them. Inadequate healthcare facilities, illiteracy and lack of awareness combined, leave women more vulnerable to preventable illnesses.

Safeguarding the interests and wellbeing of women in tea estates is crucial for their empowerment. As equal stakeholders contributing to the development of Assam, their progress will ensure the progress of the state.
