I DON'T HAVE TO WORRY

I leave everything to the Almighty,
For He will take care of them.
He sees, hears and knows me.
So, I don't have to worry.
After the pains of death and fire, the third-ranked pain in the world is the pain of childbirth, and it breaks my heart that our women - these beautiful souls, are the ones bearing this pain alone. It scares me to bone. ☹️

I was wondering when he wrote the table shaking piece. If he actually did, then he is just unthinkable for letting this out, not before, but after the deed has been done. So, he didn't think about this before it was signed into law? And from where is the inferiority coming?
It could mean insult and derogation when spoken by them, but it is glorified when spoken by us. We must create our own value and do away with foreign conception of us.
Our lives, our meaning.

To me, it doesn't matter whether a foreigner composed it or not– many parts of our constitution were copied from foreign countries–what matters is why we are adopting it.

In my thinking, it seems we are gradually going back to First Republic in a new style of systematic restructuring. The anthem is just a stepping stone, other conforming policies will follow suit.

Do you need to offend people to be disliked? No, not necessarily. All you need is to be broke, and then witness the eerie of being abandoned.

You know it was changed during the time of OBJ in the 70s?
I'm not sure whether Tinubu is stylishly getting back at OBJ over their encounter when he was Lagos Governor.
Anyways, I like the 'renewed' anthem, especially the part that reads, "Nigeria may be blessed." 😊

A lawyer said the part of our anthem that reads "where no man is oppressed" is horrendous, and if not amended to " where no person...," then we are disvaluing the women.
But what about the part: "our sovereign motherland"? We should probably amend it to "parentland".😂

How valuable is 10k in Nigeria today, that FG charges N50 EMT levy on it?
Our banks became tools for extortion, so people ran to fintechs to manage the little they have.
Now, they are being suffocated in their safe haven.
Is this the Nigeria you dream of?@officialABAT#ValueVast
I was in primary 4 then, and I joined people to celebrate "Abacha is dead" though I didn't fully comprehend the elders' joy.
But my joy that morning was that our headmaster gave us break for the day - we were all released to go home because Abacha had died.

I’ve seen people give up too early. Some even died, not because life ended, but because they thought it did.
I’ve seen parents lose a child and lose the will to live… not realizing the other children left behind were still a reason to stay. I’ve seen people end it all because one opportunity closed, not knowing something better was just around the corner.
Pain can lie. It can make you believe the story is over, but it’s not.
No loss, no heartbreak, no failed dream is worth giving up your whole life for. There is always more. Another reason, another door, another chapter. Don’t let one moment steal every moment after it.
You’re not finished. Not even close.
