As AI writes more of the code, human review matters more, not less.

So when @assert_labs approached us to design and build a site ahead of their public launch, we know it would require an honest, brutalist, developer-native aesthetic.

We wanted to reach senior engineers who care deeply about code quality, focusing on validating warm referrals rather than cold-converting from social.

We designed against the grain. We ignored the trendy golden light and oil-painting AI renaissance look. We needed something honest and built for the engineer actually reading the diff.

Assert was built for the people who still read code.
