@imhomolone don't think theres's a "best" way. I like to check the bookmarks of authors i've read to see what they liked. that works great. i've also just gone through whole tags front to back sorted by date before, but some ships/fandoms are too big for that

sorting by kudos or hits or kudos to hit ratio as a quality indicator is bullshit because the best fics are the ones you want to reread and you can only give them kudos once. hits get more if you have more chapters. dont let those little numbers dictate what you should read

it gets to a point where these AI fics are not even making sense anymore. even if i ignore the annoying, generic writing style and give the first few paragraphs the benefit of the doubt, there come an "the way x does y" that makes NO sense and then i'm gone
