It may surprise you though, science is it's self skeptical of science. If it wasn't and the science was as most activist claim "Settled". Then we would not really need more scientific studies done. Because the science is settled as it were.

After all it was science that claimed fats/cholesterol and sugars were bad, in the 60's.

The world was cooling in the 70's.

That acid rain would kill all the forests of Europe in the 80's.

That the Ozone layer would be gone in the 90's.

Most of the world glaciers would be gone in the 2000's.

It was not all bad for nature. Our use of coal and oil saved the whale as we did not need their oil for lighting and lubrication and our use of iron ore and gas that save the forests as we did not need thousands of tonnes of wood for heating and building ships, and a lot of the river systems in Europe are cleaner now than at any time in the last 100 years.

Help! All bollocks isn't it. People such as your self have been making noise about this for years. We all know renting is a cash cow for landlords and all that will happen is the noise will continue so nothing will change.

What would help if they capped rent at no more than 25% of ones income, like it used to be 30 years ago.

The sheer number of renters I have heard tell the same story about their land lord saying they are secure (despite a 6 to 12 month lease). Only to be shafted out of their home, because the land lord needs to sell. Make leases last a minimum of 5 to 10 years (if you have kids, going to school) or at least if the land lord wants tenants out through no fault of the renters own. Make the land lord pay for finding a new home removal and bond.

I never ever subscribed to the mantra "the customer is always right".

For me the customer is mostly usually wrong. The art of a good business person is in telling the customer they are wrong without telling them they are wrong.

After all if your doing it right you should know more about the product or service than any customer.

Furthermore if you have a shitty customer who will tell 10 other people. They are likely to come into your shop to see what the fuss is all about (potential sale opportunity) as they probably know their friend is a whinger anyway.
