It’s been a while, but here’s another bug fix from me: Metro-Cross (1987).
The game no longer crashes at the beginning of Round 5 on the ZX Spectrum +2A/+3.

Just realized something. In the #StarTrekDS9 episode “His Way,” Lola Chrystal, created by Vic Fontaine to look like Kira Nerys, is singing into an SM-58. The SM-58 entered production in 1966, while Fontaine’s establishment is meant to simulate 1962 Las Vegas.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the #ZXSpectrum, I’m releasing a small update to my #SHMUP.

Happy Birthday, ZX Spectrum!

@RMCRetro That was too rich for my blood. I started with a 14400 baud one. Then there was a PCMCIA-based 28.8 kBps jobby which I used in my PowerBook 190cs.
@slithymatt@YouTube Hi, Matt! I commented on your video, but it’s worth repeating it here: if you need any help or additional info about assembly programming for the Spectrum—feel free to contact me. I’ll be more than happy to help!
@baze3SC@MarkRJones1970 Possibly, although I think 4.7 µF is overkill. I left the original 100 nF caps in, and didn’t notice any changes in the output frequency range. This isn’t a filtering cap; rather, it’s there to remove the DC component of the audio signal.
Attention owners of a #ZXSpectrum 128K or +2. To fix the balance between the ULA (beeper) and AY audio, you need to replace two resistors with different values. I made pictures showing where the resistors are along with the new values.
