🔴 Il y a 93 ans, naissait Air France.

Le 30 août 1933, sous l’impulsion du ministre Pierre Cot, les principales compagnies aériennes françaises (Air Orient, Air Union, CIDNA, Lignes Farman, bientôt rejointes par l’Aéropostale) fusionnent.

Les statuts sont déposés, la compagnie nationale voit le jour. Le nom "Air France", proposé par le journaliste Georges Raffalovitch, est adopté.

L’emblème ? L’hippocampe ailé d’Air Orient, affectueusement surnommé "la crevette".

L’inauguration officielle aura lieu le 7 octobre 1933 au Bourget, mais c’est bien le 30 août que tout commence.

93 ans d’élégance à la française, d’innovation, de Concorde, de Caravelle, d’A350 et de voyages qui font rêver !
