@amyklobuchar DFL politicians are quick to attack the GOP for raising costs—yet the MN DFL hiked the gas tax & car tab fees, lost hundreds of millions (or more) to fraud, and under their leadership property taxes & utility bills increased. We need more balanced debate, not just partisan jabs.
@MinnesotaDFL Level with Minnesotans honestly. The DFL raised the state gas tax and car tab fees. Under DFL leadership, hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars were lost to fraud, while utility costs and property taxes have increased. How much has DFL leadership cost the state?
@Flip_1776 It's great that you are engaging with young leaders. Can you please also address why you think fraud has become such a widespread issue under DFL leadership this decade? How would your approach be better than the current DFL leadership?
@keithellison Please disclose how many foreign trips you joined as the MN AG, who sponsored those trips, & which companies had lobbyists on those trips. You criticize Schutz for owning stock in private companies. Will you also disclose whether you benefitted from corporate sponsorships as AG?
@ComfortablySmug Ellison criticizes his opponent for owning stocks, but his office won't even respond to CNN inquiries about the foreign trips he attended as AG. Why won't Ellison disclose who sponsored the foreign trips he attended as AG and which companies had lobbyists on those trips?
@adamcarolla Ellison criticizes his opponent for owning stock in private companies. Yet, the MN AG office didn't respond to two CNN inquiries about the AGA foreign trips that Ellison joined. Who sponsored them & which companies had lobbyists on those trips? Why hide that info from MN voters?
@JoeConchaTV Why didn't the MN AG office respond to two inquiries from CNN about these trips? Shouldn't Minnesota voters be able to know how many foreign trips Ellison attended as AG, who sponsored the trips, and which companies had lobbyists on those trips?
@RonforMNAG According to the CNN reporter, AG Ellison's office didn't reply to two inquiries about the AGA foreign trips he attended. Who sponsored these trips? Which companies had lobbyists on the trips? Why won't the MN AG office publicly disclose this information to voters?
@PollTracker2024 Minnesota has a very blue track record for US Senate, but aren't the recent Minnesota polls in this cycle at least as competitive as the polls in Ohio and more competitive than Georgia at this point?
@LittleCongress Matt Little: "The Strait of Hormuz is closed."
Meanwhile, headlines this week are reporting significant amounts of oil exports moving through the Strait of Hormuz.
CD-2 deserves a representative who will prioritize the facts, not spin to fit a political agenda.
@Jamiemlong Aren't there laws that govern these situations? If he doesn't sell the stock, would he be required to recuse himself from these cases? If the laws don't exist or are insufficient, are you working to pass a law that will prevent these kinds of conflicts?
@amyklobuchar Aren't PACs funded by out-of-state billionaires also boosting your campaign and attacking Demuth?
If you are really against big money in political campaigns, then you should critique its influence on both the DFL & GOP.
@peggyflanagan Your argument might sound more credible if your administration did more to fight the fraudulent use of taxpayer dollars and to keep the cost of living more affordable for Minnesotans.
During your two terms as LG, property taxes, utility costs, gas taxes & car tab fees increased.
@MinnesotaDFL This seems like a bad faith argument. Would you make this argument about every other private individual & organization that owns stocks?
Government could restrict stock ownership for elected officials and adopt conflict of interest policies, but you're not calling for that here.
@PollTracker2024 Flanagan's lead is within this poll's margin of error of ±4.0%.
The pollster says that "Results were weighted for sex, age, race and ethnicity, education, and geography." May be noteworthy because some polls over/under-sample some age groups relative to the electorate.
@LittleCongress There are 190+ countries & humanitarian crises in multiple places around the world. However, Matt wants you to know that he only refuses money from an American PAC that supports a collaborative relationship with one specific country.
@coefficientpoll Just curious, why are 43% of your Maine poll respondents age 65+? Your polls in some other states also seem to over-represent this age group relative to their actual share of the electorate.
@peggyflanagan Minnesotans elected you twice as Lt. Gov. Since you took office, murders, aggravated assaults, property taxes, homelessness, utility rates & shutoffs have all increased. Minnesotans have also seen the consequences of re-electing Flanagan. This state needs better leadership.
