The Dynamics of a Comets Tail. Comet Tsuchinshan-Atlas. I imaged on the 23 of October 2024 as it was setting in Spain. Image taken with The Takahashi 180 and asi2400mc pro. 29x 30s frames .
The tail was pretty dynamic showing a coil of martial moving quicky down through the tail

@Rufus_CDR I feel your pain same here in the UK. I’ve been working continuously on the observatory in Spain that I have finally got around to processing the data I have been collecting. I also have a set of dual band filters on a 180ed and OSC. They are very compatible to using mono.
Gandalf the not so grey
The Wizard Nebula NGC 7380 in SHO, I imaged this remotely from Spain with the ASA12N f3:6 and asi2600mm Pro
Exposure times were 45x300s in SII, 35x 300s in Ha and 35x 300s in OIII Processed in Pixinsight and finished in Photoshop

I did this shot of the Veil Nebula using the Epsilon 180Ed , ZWO ASI2400MC pro One Shot Colour and Askar Dual Band Ha/O3
These Dual Band filters reinvents OSC imaging in my opinion.
Exposure time was 4.6 hrs for each panel. Two Panel Mosaic

A three panel mosaic of The Elephant Trunk Nebula imaged remotely from Spain with the 16in Dall-Kirkham in RGB exposure times were 40mins in each RGB filter for each panel. I processed using Pixinsight. What surprised me was the amount of colour I was able to pull out.
Imaged The Eagle Nebula in RGB remotely from Spain. This is the first image I have processed since I stripped and rebuilt the telescope. Done with the 16in Dall-Kirham Pier 9 Roboscopes. Two hours exposure in each Red Green and Blue filter giving a total of 6hrs.
The Large Molecular Cloud in Taurus has to be one of my favourites. This is a four panel mosaic featuring IC2087, IC2088 and NGC1539. Imaged remotely from Spain with the Epsilon 180ed and the ZWO ASI2400MC Pro. Exposures were 45 x 300s for each panel.
