None of that robotics was my plan. I didn't put up the money. It was the owner and management. They saw the tide coming

And the sale, that is business. They built it up and made it great and cashed it in. They made great decisions like hiring me and trusting my ability to adapt.

And far as the rewards, I had a real simple deal with the company. I worked, and they paid me for it and provided benefits per the agreement as long as I showed up.

Now I have time for my hobbies. Like printing and painting cool 1/6 scale statues

You don't see the economic picture. The old ways were expensive, prone to error, and inefficient. Technology and expectations changed. We had to modernize to stay competitive or fail. That is survival.

The company was privately held, and the owner aged out right before covid. One our corporate customers bought it and eliminated some of the products because they didn't fit their plans. They downsized it and basically only kept their products we made. I retired in '23. They are back down to 500.

It was a helluva ride.
