@NatesHiddenGems Definitely worth checking out. It was supposed to come out after Love Is for Suckers in '89 or so, but the label went bankrupt (or dropped the project), shelving the album. The record finally saw an independent release in the mid-'90s!
@iEclip Doncs el disseny té un estil retro molt interessant, en contrast amb l'anterior disc que era més digital i contemporani. El concepte del morphing amb les cares ja no és gaire original, però.
Pocs artistes es poden permetre el luxe de fer un recital exclusivament de rareses o temes oblidats, i el resultat sigui més estimulant i atractiu que no pas el show habitual amb els hits/singles de sempre.
@NatesHiddenGems Their worst album, I'd even rank it below Eye 2 Eye lol. The only decent tracks are the the first two songs, and House of Cards which is a pretty lovely ballad. The rest is filler and rehashed material from the vault.
@NatesHiddenGems To me, this is one of their best modern-era releases! The band sounds inspired and refreshed. The Desmond Child production might be a bit too slick, but the songwriting is top-notch. So catchy and melodic!
@NatesHiddenGems They were clearly going thru the motions during this period; after this release they produced two back-to-back symphonic and acoustic live albums. Loved the Sting/Seal joke haha 🤣
