In Italy these days for View Conference. Just a few months after going through two open heart surgeries due to a birth defect on my aortic valve, discovered by sheer luck, I'm here to talk about a topic that's very close to my creative heart: The 3d tools we use today, are not good enough.. The output is amazing but the process doesn't come close to that intuitive sensation of painting broad, colorful brushstrokes on a canvas, or playing in a jazz band, jamming and letting the music and the rhythm guide you.

I did a workshop today, and Friday I'm doing a main talk on the same stage that one of my big idols, Doug Chiang, did a talk on today.

In the workshop, and in my main talk, I'll talk about my wonderful journey of building worlds and telling stories through a tool that gives me that same sense of wonder I felt as a child when I was drawing. #dreamsps4 manages to get so many things right, that other 3d tools fail at. But most importantly, in Dreams, I'm a child again, filled with wonder and with a feeling that everything is possible, that every story is within reach ❤️
