Glimpses of the valedictory ceremony of the Induction Training Programme for Assistant Director (Grade-I) and Assistant Director (Grade-II) of the Indian Enterprise Development Service (IEDS) cadre, held today.
The Induction Training Programme was conducted from 6th to 17th October, 2025, by the Office of Development Commissioner(MSME), Ministry of MSME.
A total of 65 officers-29 Assistant Director (Grade-I) and 36 Assistant Director (Grade-II), selected through the UPSC, attended the programme.

Shri S.C.L Das, Secretary, Ministry of MSME, also congratulated the newly recruited IEDS officers on the successful completion of their training. He encouraged them to take pride in their first postings, emphasizing that they are the catalysts of change for the MSME sector.
He highlighted that the course was well-designed to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge, and reminded them that, as young officers, they represent the youthful energy of the Ministry. He also motivated them to work hard and give their best in every assignment.

He mentioned that the programme adopted a comprehensive approach to training-in addition to classroom sessions, it included field visits and interactive sessions with eminent experts, including the Chief Economic Adviser.
