Today is ARFID Awareness Day. My little girl has ARFID. Everyday this week I've asked her what she would like for dinner and everyday we've had tears and complete shut downs. She wants to eat, she wants to choose, but she just has no idea what is 'safe' in her brain to eat (1)

There is so much judgement and so little understanding from the outside world. Just make her eat, I wish it was that easy. She'll eat when she's hungry, she doesn't get hungry. She'll listen to the doctors telling her to eat, no she won't. Trust me, I have tried, so much (4)
