MahaRERA Pulls Up Sonigara Realcon Over Concealed Court Case

A major transparency order from MahaRERA has put M/s Shree Sonigara Realcon for its "Signature Ritz"
Project Partners naming Ketul Bhagchand Sonigara, Rahul Bhagchand Sonigara, Bhavesh Bhagchand Sonigara, Jitendra Panraj Sonigara and Mitesh Mafatlal Doshi under the scanner for allegedly failing to disclose a pending civil suit linked to its Signature Ritz project in Thergaon.

MahaRERA has ordered the developer to upload details of Special Civil Suit of 2025 on the project's official RERA page within 30 days, warning that non-compliance could invite action under Section 61 of the RERA Act. The complaint was filed by Smita Vivek Sonawane, who claimed she was denied her rightful share in ancestral land forming part of the project. While MahaRERA refused to cancel the project's registration or halt construction—holding that ownership disputes must be decided by civil courts—it made one thing clear.

Homebuyers cannot be kept in the dark about pending litigation.

The Authority ruled that litigation affecting a project must be disclosed to protect prospective buyers before they invest.

Pune Times Mirror repeatedly contacted M/s Shree Sonigara Realcon and its partners for their response, but no reply was received till the time of publication.

The government is rewarding corruption instead of ensuring accountability!

Last night, the Education Secretary was transferred. He was replaced by an IAS officer from the Animal Husbandry Department who has severe multi-crore corruption charges against him.

The entire crisis around paper leaks and NEET was about systemic corruption. Replacing one bureaucrat with another facing serious corruption allegations is a direct INSULT to young people across India.

Is this the "compromise" the government expects us to accept? This is not accountability. We will not stop until Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigns ✊
