This Planet May Have Oceans of Molten Rock 🌋🪐
Meet 55 Cancri e, an extreme super-Earth about 41 light-years away.
It orbits its star in less than 18 hours and is so hot that parts of its surface may contain molten rock.
Even more surprising, observations from the James Webb Space Telescope suggest that 55 Cancri e may have an atmosphere, possibly containing gases released from its magma.
Scientists are studying this scorching world to better understand how rocky planets and their atmospheres evolve.

The first injection didn't work, so they did a 2nd.
If the 2nd injection doesn't work, you do a 3rd.
