Last time I built a landing page for my friend's digital marketing agency, I quoted 30% of the market rate and it's been 8months and I haven't seen that money, and now another friend is asking for a full fledged site, for their dry fruits business and when I quoted the price they were like its too much, bruh these guys seriously underestimate what goes into building software. An SEO-optimized website with a database, product management, inventory CMS, and a polished frontend isn’t some cheap side task you whip up overnight.

Friends want “friendship discounts,” but somehow forget the developer is investing actual time, skill, effort, and long nights into the work.
