@MartinSLewis Crucially, the previous changes increased what graduates would have to pay without generating any extra funding for the Unis themselves, whilst the latest change makes little difference to most graduates but increases income needed by Unis to stop depts closing etc.

Excellent news! Congratulations to colleagues at @Higher_Horizons and thanks to @PVFCFoundation for the recognition. Important to reflect that, as a @stokecity fan, I have nothing but positive feelings about the 'other' potteries team 😃.
We are thrilled to announce that Higher Horizons have won the Partner Award at @PVFCFoundation
Over the last year we have been working closely to strengthen the opportunities of young people in the local community. Last night was recognition of the impact of the partnership🎊
Somerville College is now looking for its next Principal, as Baroness Jan Royall will be stepping down in 2025. Could you be the right person to guide our college through a period of exciting change and opportunity? https://t.co/HNzRglUEy2
@RestIsPolitics@RoryStewartUK@campbellclaret If the French election result is as the initial projections suggest and RN come in 3rd place, does that mean Macron is a genius after all?
The SCOTUS ruling means that Joe Biden could order the assassination of Donald Trump and most of the SCOTUS justices with impunity as long as he did it officially, right? All he’d need to worry about would be being officially bumped off by his successor. Scary.
As someone once said, if you don’t vote you lose the right to complain about the government and who wants that? There are more important reasons to register and to vote but that’s worthy of consideration.
97%+ of over 65s are registered to vote. Only 2/3s of 18-24 year olds are on the register. If you turn 18 on or before 4th July you can register to vote right now.
Do not lose your democratic birthright! It matters so much.
It only takes 5 minutes.

I'm puzzled by the way the PM is conducting his GE campaign. The best I can come up with (I'm sure others have suggested this) is that he wants to move on to the post-politics stage of his life but doesn't want to be too obvious about it. If so, he's failing on the second part.
Delighted to get the chance to congratulate and recognise such excellent young learners and to thank their parents, teachers, and other supporters for all the support they give to these outstanding young people.
Huge congratulations to all the amazing students who completed the HASP programme at @KeeleUniversity last night. Here is Steve from @SomervilleOx reflecting on their time at the Oxford Residential earlier this year. Huge thanks to the support of @SOT6FC during the programme.
@andrewcopson Whilst I think that any religious message displayed by a public body in a public place is problematic, this is almost identical in sentiment to the Christian 'All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God'. If the sentiment itself is wrong it isn't specific to Islam.
On International Women’s Day it’s great to come face to face with the the Nobel medal presented to Dorothy Hodgkin, Fellow and Tutor in Chemistry at @SomervilleOx
These are only civilians in this church. They are only admitting Christians who are known to the community. They have nothing to do with Hamas.
I plea to the Israeli Government to leave them alone. They haven't hurt anybody.
I'm not sure they're going to survive the week.
