every tear that has streamed down my face today is an ocean full of love for Brian Wilson. the channel in which he expressed himself was like a direct bridge connecting God and humanity.
he is my hero. may his example of courageous vulnerability be cherished and revered 🕊️
@111wonderfu1 It’s simply a fact that it is part of your life. That is OKAY. It is not the ONLY part about your story. You are worth so much, even if all you do is stick it out and stay around. Seriously. But you can always, ALWAYS, rebuild and reach new peaks, even if they are different.
@111wonderfu1 And even if it happens over and over again. There’s so much we can regret in life, lost time, lost opportunities. Not being at your best or sharpest… whatever… it’ll throttle you. It’s OKAY that you have struggled or are struggling. It’s OKAY that you got lost.
I don't even know what kind of post to make; what to even say really.
I think anyone who still follows me or sees my posts gets what's on my mind today.
One of the greatest Americans to ever live has just passed. Brian Wilson, beyond being perhaps the most talented musician this country has ever produced, you were a creative titan, an innovator. Your perseverance through the jungles of mental health was inspiring. Thank you
@LOVElSPOWER ME TOO. This was the song that unlocked it all for me. This isn't a lot of people's favorite on Pet Sounds but it is SUCH a standout in my heart.
one of my favorite songs, written by brian wilson. the beach boys couldn't sing it so he gave it to glen campbell. you can hear wilson say "awesome" at 2:21 when the orchestral players finally got it right after the umpteenth take https://t.co/mMzv3aA1ve
@BBorbz I can't believe it either, even though we knew it was coming. I get that it's a strange solace in some way, that he finally gets to rest. See Dennis and Carl. But it doesn't make it easier. He is so missed.
