Peer review helps make sure the content we put out is correct, thorough, and agreed on by leading experts in the field📝
But it may sometimes mean redoing months of your work...
Follow us along to learn more about our game and how it gives you a glimpse into an astronomer's life!
We keep finding planets outside the solar system 🤷♀️ These are called exoplanets! As of March, 2024, the count for confirmed exoplanet detections is 5,599! Yet no solid proof of life.....
Maybe you'll find something while you play our game? 😏
This comic and our entire game was made by graduate students at ungodly hours ⏰
Comics like this are on the 'Interact' cards in our game! These cards help you shuffle your hand, mess with other players, and let you glimpse into lives of real astronomers ✨
Fresh from the Astromania journal! Stars with partners are more common than you may think!
Our card game lets you turn your game points into scientific publication🤓And these 'paper' titles? All TRUE space facts!

This is something our artist/developer @eeshadg overheard at a telescope night 🔭✨
Outreach initiatives like our card game hope to bring this 'so cool it feels illegal' world of astronomy to your homes very soon! Till then, enjoy a comic from an 'Interact' card in the game🙂
You can actually see the center of our galaxy from Earth in the night sky with your naked eyes! Next time you're under a dark sky, look south towards Sagittarius. That's where the Milky Way's center is!

These faint galaxies are called diffused galaxies and recent telescope technology has enabled us to study quite a few of them!

These disks are called 'protoplanetary disks' and we have been able to image them as well. We're pretty sure our own solar system also formed from a disk like this!

Exploding stars also go on to enrich their surroundings and creating the right environment for new stars to be born!

I should mention that jets aren't a monolith. Some we do understand fairly well but there's a lot more we don't. Usually magnetic fields are involved and that throws us off 🤷♀️

Have you read about the recent discovery of a population of binary stripped stars from UofT?
If not, you absolutely should!
